The TRK Series are horizontal thrust restraints that control excessive movement of air handling equipment and ductwork. These restraints are ideal for applications where large volumes of air movement or high starting torque occur.
The TRK Series are designed to prevent excessive movement of air handling equipment where the air thrust exceeds 10% of the unit weight. The horizontal thrust restraints are attached horizontally to the sides of air handling equipment at the point of connection between two components. The series consist of a steel housing containing a steel spring in series with an elastomeric pad. The restraint assemblies are pre-adjusted during manufacturing and do permit additional adjustment in the field.
The TRK Series limit the motion resulting from high starting torque or air thrust to 1/4". The series is shipped with back up plates and hardware for attachment to both the equipment and to the duct work or structure.
