Roof Mounted Seismic
VMC Group designs and manufactures a wide variety of curbs and rails that are used for mounting large equipment and machinery to roofs. Roof mounted curbs and rails are used primarily when a solid base is required for maximum stability under the heaviest equipment. Roof mounted curbs and rails are used to reduce machinery vibration and noise. These products may be specified to withstand high winds for rooftop applications or for continued operation during seismic events. VMC Group curbs and rails are structural curbs and provide rails for positive point attachment to the building structure. In addition, our curbs and rails have an attachment from the curb or rail to the equipment.
