John P Giuliano

John Giuliano is the President at VMC Group. Since 1997, he held such positions as Engineering Manager and Business Unit Manager for VMC parent Aeroflex International, until being appointed President of VMC Group after the acquisition of the company in 2005.
Mr. Giuliano has a degree in Aerospace Engineering from New York University PolyTechnic School of Engineering. He has vast experience in structural analysis having spent 12 years at NorthropGrumman and Lockheed designing military aircraft including the F14 Tomcat, F22 Raptor, A6 Intruder and the C2 Greyhound. He is the technical engineering and product specialist for VMC Group, supporting product quality and manufacturing and engineering, while ensuring workflow efficiencies and meeting customer demand.
Mr. Giuliano is a founding member and past President of VISCMA; Vibration Isolation and Seismic Controls Manufacturers Association. He is an active member of ASHRAE Technical Committees TC2.6 Sound and Vibration Control and TC2.7 Seismic and Wind Restraint Design. He is an editor and contributor to FEMA 412, 413 and 414 and author of numerous articles and lectures on the testing and certification of nonstructural building components. Mr. Giuliano lectures worldwide on the importance and implementation of proper seismic building codes and is a subject matter expert within the industry. He has valuable professional relationships with most of the industry leaders in the commercial construction market.
Mr. Giuliano is a Licensed Professional Engineer in multiple states.
